Honest answers from Dr. med. Yasemin and the Natürlich Atelier team.
No. Natürlich Atelier is educational. Dr. med. Yasemin's guidance reflects current dermatology and endocrinology research, but it doesn't replace a visit to your own physician — especially for prescription treatments, hormone therapy, or persistent skin conditions.
Yes. The combined pill, the patch, the ring and most IUDs flatten the natural cycle, so cyclic skin changes are smaller. Our peri/postmenopause guidance is more relevant for many users on hormonal contraception. If in doubt, choose the menopause track and skim the cycle pages for context.
Use the average length over the last three cycles. Even an approximate number is enough to land you in the right phase most days. If you have PCOS, endometriosis, or amenorrhea, the menopause-style routines (barrier-first, minimal actives) are usually a safer baseline.
Every Natürlich Atelier formula is built from naturally derived actives, and the plant-based ingredients we use are certified organic by recognized European standards (BDIH, NaTrue, or COSMOS-ORGANIC). Synthetic preservatives, parabens, phthalates, oxybenzone, and the rest of the Credo Beauty Dirty List are excluded by default.
Germany has some of the strictest cosmetic-manufacturing standards in the world — full ingredient traceability, GMP-certified labs, and pharmacy-grade quality control. Dr. med. Yasemin formulates and produces every product locally so we can guarantee what reaches your skin.
We recommend skipping it. Estrogen is at its lowest, the barrier is thinnest, and retinol-induced irritation lingers longer. Pause for 3–5 days and resume in the follicular phase.
No. Your cycle data, saved rituals, and basket all live in your browser's local storage on this device. We don't have a server collecting it.
Most lines sell a fixed routine. We map every product to the hormonal phase it actually serves, and our app tells you when to use it and when to rest it. The result is fewer products doing more work.
